"Green Building" Proclamation awarded to ETI
EarthLinked received a Proclamation from the Mayor of the City of Lakeland for being the first LEED designed building in Polk County, Florida.
The Proclamation also recites:
WHEREAS, EarthUnked Technologies patented systems manufactured in Lakeland have over 100 million hours of service saving energy in space heating and cooling, and water heating in 47 states and 15 countries; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has identified many opportunities that are appropriate for the energy and environmental saving technologies and economic benefits of Ea rthLinked Technologies; and:
WHEREAS, green buildings incorporate principles of energy and resource
ef£iciency, practical applications of waste reduction and pollution prevention, good indoor air quality and natural light to promote occupant health and productivity, and t ransportation efficiency in deSign and construction, during use and reuse.
