EarthLinked loops are easier to install because they use a much smaller bore hole and less excavation than water-based systems. Therefore, smaller and more maneuverable drilling equipment can be used.

Because EarthLinked needs no intermediate loop, you need no plastic loop fusing tools, pumps to add antifreeze or training to assemble the loop. EarthLinked loops are factory assembled. The unit weighs one-third that of a closed-loop system or high efficiency air source heat pump.
