“EarthLinked Technologies, Inc.” Announces Its New Name, New Message and New Website
Lakeland, FL, December 3, 2007 - Florida-based thermal energy company ECR Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has adopted the new name of “EarthLinked Technologies, Inc.” to reflect its focus on renewable energy from the shallow earth for heating and cooling buildings and fluids.
“The world is searching for alternatives to fossil fuels that are the cause of increased expense, pollution and uncertainty,” CEO Hal Roberts said. “As technology leaders in sustainable energy with 27 years of innovations, we are positioning the company with a strong identity coupled with the infinite source of energy harvested by our EarthLinked® heat pumps. EarthLinked Technologies is proclaiming its position as standard bearer for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness with a new name, new messaging and a new website.”
New Message
“Wind and solar energy are clean and renewable, but are intermittent and geographically limited,” added EarthLinked President, Robert Cochran, PE. “The earth stores solar energy, which is available anytime, anywhere that people live. Our former name served the company well, but our new name more clearly relates to the renewable energy from the earth that provides great value as it displaces fossil fuel and reduces climate change.”
New Logo and Website
The new corporate logo, showing the dawning rays of the sun and the link between the earth and sun, is intended to illustrate the mission of delivering warmth and savings with renewable energy. A clean environment and sustainable future are proclaimed by the green and blue colors.
A new website, www.earthlinked.com has been launched to provide information to homeowners, business owners and designers who are searching for energy and environmental savings. The redesigned site also adds many new features for the EarthLinked global team of sales representatives and installers.

Invented in response to the energy crisis of the 1970’s, EarthLinked® systems are now saving energy in homes, businesses and institutions in 14 countries and 41 states. They have been the subject of nine U.S. patents and successful performance testing by the U.S. EPA, ten electric utilities, and the Florida Solar Energy Center.
